Linda H. XU has 40+ years of experience in TCM (mainly fertility acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine). Her special interests are in women's health and infertility. Some of her most successful areas are infertility associated with poor egg quality, recurrent miscarriage, high FSH level, endometriosis, PCOS, unexplained and hormonal imbalance related infertility. In addition, she also has many years of experience in treating PMS, irregular period, hot flush and early menopause. IBS, migraine, auto-immune illness and other chronic disorders, such as asthma, food allergy, anxiety or depression, various eye problems, and cancer support treatment.
Linda’s formal acupuncture and TCM training were from the Hunan University of Chinese Medicine (formerly known as Hunan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine) in Changsha, China. She was a distinguished student in her Class, and later became a chief physician at the teaching hospital of this University. Linda had a medical degree in medicine (C.M.D., an equivalent of M.D. in North America) from China. In 1991, Linda came to Canada and started practising acupuncture and herbal medicine in Fredericton, N.B. Several years later, Linda and her family moved to Toronto where she and her husband David X. Bai co-founded the TCM Fertility Toronto, a predecessor of HFT.
Linda had many published articles (in Chinese) on various TCM and acupuncture journals since 1983. She was a part-time lecturer at the Michener Institute in Toronto. Linda had also been recognized as a leader in her field, and had been featured on the Women's Network (general intro to TCM), CBC Radio Metro Morning (infertility), CBC Television (hot flush and menopause), and Global TV (migraine and infertility).
Acupuncture/TCM Services Are Exempted from HST. Any Raw Herbs are Also Not Subject to HST. But Chinese Potent Medicine Such as Herbal Pills or Capsules Sold in A Bottle or Manufactured Box Will Need to Charge HST for the Sale Prices.
